So here we are in beautiful Madrid. Today is our third day here, and we´re finally adjusted. We stayed the first two nights at a place called Los Amigos Backpackers Hostel, which was a dorm style hostel with 6 people per room. It was clean, and a great place to meet people, but we like having our own space, and not having to lock up our stuff. Hey all, so yesterday I left my small cocoon of Lauterbrunnen and head out to the big city - Luzern. And what a city it was amazing I took the boat down lake Luzern stopping in the small town of Weggis, where they where having a great street fair. Still getting used to co-ed bathrooms but really it's not that big of a deal. We sat with a girl from England at breakfast and she told us about a market in a non-touristy part of Madrid. Ok, so my camera has run out of batteries so i don't have any more photo's which is alright cause i did see them in real life, lol. This is when my trip calms down a bit, cause i'm really tired lol. We had a wonderful afternoon lounging by the pool at our spectacular hotel. We all had mojitos and Edie and I split a smoked salmon and pasta salad that was excellent.
