      Great atmosphere, music and communal kitchen! Been hosteling for 5 months in Europe and this has by far been the best!

An estimated 35,000-135,000 people were killed, with the figures so broad due to the unknown thousands of refugees in the town fleeing the Russian advance that were also killed.       visited the Konigstein Fortress, this again is another wonderful feet of
      engineering and a very interesting place to explore.

      Our accommodation in
      Dresden was at the A&O Hotel, this is a basic but excellent value hotel
      that appeared to cater to all age groups regardless and was again in the city
      and a very good base from which to explore the city on foot.
