... we got back to mürren township we went into the supermarket and bought some lunch and I bought a shot glass souvenir which has the mountains on it. We went back to Lara's holiday house and ate lunch in the sun, with the Swiss alps staring at us right off the balcony! Was such a stunning view as the weather was so nice! I had arranged earlier that I was going to do a paraglide through the alps, so as it was approaching 2.30pm we packed up ...

... the next three days, Murren. Rushed to the room to take pictures before it got dark. We have a nice little room that has a killer view but low ceilings...not a big concern for us and probably why we were given this room!

Don and Cindy got another balcony! Jees, the Rick Steve's Virgins have been making out on the rooms!

We all went down for dinner...cheese fondue, salad ...

... a beautiful old castle and wooden chalets. We walked down to the marina and found the beach path along the lake to Faulensee. Unfortunately it started to cloud over and rain. We did most o the 30 min walk in the rain but still got good views of the lake although the surrounding mountains were shrouded in cloud. Got to Faulensee and took a while to find the train station. There are very infrequent trains that stop ...
