... scented candles was all we were going to need to get through Pam. given cyclone Pam was nothing more than a bit of wind and a light shower, we ended up using our emergency bathtub water to water the plants. if anyone reading this blog lives in NZ and does not have an emergency kit, you are welcome to share ours during the next disaster as long as you bring crackers, cheese and a lighter for our scented candles.
