Malostranske square 11 / 260, Lesser town square Prague, Bohemia, Czech Republic, +-420-242-406-964
... bought a swish leather jacket. In about 10 minutes at least 3 people came up to me and asked for what I presume was spare change (in Czech?) - and 2 of them didn't even look remotely like they needed it, maybe I just looked like a soft target ...
Prague, Hlavní Mesto Praha, Czech Republic sianeth... delicious adult beverages since the 13th century. Anheuser-Busch used the name of the town b/c of it was well known for its exceptional beer. However, they are now in an ongoing battle over the name. You will find the real Budweiser sold as Czechvar in the US, and the 2nd rate American beer is sold (if it is sold) in Europe as "Bud ...
Prague, Bohemia, Czech Republic beccaboyer... I am told) it was pretty good. -We went to the Albert supermarket again (we bought the same things to make dinner with again) then we went to 3 other shops to try to find an onion but everywhere you had to buy a bag of onions. -We had a party with some of the tour groups (I called it a party anyway - there were a few of us and lemoade). We played the game celebrity (nobody knew who Barnacle Bill is oops). Two days was enough in Prague but it was fun.
Prague, Bohemia, Czech Republic alicebz... all these personal possessions brought these people to life perhaps a proof of the holocaust denied by many. Until this point they were just statistics. Some rooms held hundreds of people in bunk beds, with two or three people to a bed. Some rooms had no beds just beat up mats on the floor. The toilets and showers were separate but definitely nothing even close to sanitary. We saw the ...
Prague, Bohemia, Czech Republic melwyn_miranda... sq for the fireworks and to find sarah. we saw the new year in on top of a metro entrance so about 2 feet away there was a 30ft drop onto concrete stairs, anythin seemed to go, it was bananas. after the official fireworks, the official psychos decided to let theirs off in the middle of the square but not up into the air like most civilised pyrotechs would, but they opted to fire em at each other and the crowd as well as an array of glass ...
Prague, Czech Republic jordanblair100Well, last time i drove through Germany, it just looked like a shithole! Admittedly that was through the north, past all the nasty cities (and the north of all countries is always horrible!). This time I drove sort of mid-south, past Frankfurt and Nurnburg - it was actually very un-german (no offence). Very pretty landscape, loads of evergreen covered hills and valleys, rivers, lakes and all that ****. Weather was starting to get really hot ...
Prague, Czech Republic nobaldo... to get to a dodgy underground 'dry cleaner and Internet' and just get online long enough to send her a sms through the free smsing website. Then I walk back to the meeting point and a bit later after me she arrived as well. In the meantime I could still amuse myself with the snow bank around the statue and so on... it was no bad, seeing Prague under the snow since my last visit. Then I met with quite a sweet girl, I kinda liked her style right away. We ended up in a sort of Artist ...
Praha, Czech Republic maplefanta... cities than I expected...teeeeeming with tourists and wierdly, wasps!! The Charles Bridge had swarms of both hehe!! We walked up to the castle area, thru the huge gates with amazing views of the city and around the cathederal and then we wandered thru some queiter back streets, across the bridge and into Stare Mesto the old town! Prague, Czech Republic vegi_table... Salsa, went to the Canadian bar, then yet another before heading to the Midnight Express for late night crepes and cheeseburgers (yummmmmy. Cirque Terre, Italy - Cirque Terre is a national park on the coast of Italy south of Genoa and just north of La Spezia. There is this sweet 12km stone pathway that links these 5 coastal fishing villages and the scenery is spectacular. It was a sweet day with tons of sunshine and it was like 25 degrees!! We grubbed on deli sandwhiches at the ...
Prague, Czech Republic timbo_and_sue... flag. It was unreal. These are the types of fans you see on TV in a soccer driven country, except it was for hockey. The team went on to win 3-0, and the square went crazy. Not only have I never seen a site like this, I've also never seen so many drunk people (and I went to MSU, mind you). To top this, today, the team came back, and there were even more people there. I can't even guess how many. They had the ...
