... so we did and it was amazing. On the back of a jeep in the middle of a pitch black jungle you could see a million stars in the sky and as the ranger pointed the camp torch out into the wild, we also got to see loads of deer, a porcupine, a wild cat and an elephant. The next day we left the cabin at 6.45 in the morning to hike to a waterfall 13 km away and 3 hours later we reached it. It was well worth the hike! We hitch hiked back to the ...

... their bars! I say girls very loosely as iv never seen so many lady boys haha!! We also found the Pattaya Soho district called Boyz Town, very funny to see the people going in & out of there! Lots of Russians & Chinese here as well, I didn't notice it as much in Bangkok.... Food wise I tried crickets today & they are surprisingly tasty :) fried fresh in ...

... dinner and decided to eat at an Italian restaurant run by an authentic Italian dude. Jon and I got pepperoni pizza and it was fabulous, though before i could start eating mine, Jenika mopped some of the pizza grease up without warning! I guess it was for my own benefit, but I'm very used to swamp-loads of grease that sit on top of my favorite American pizza, Grotto Pizza. I guess I needed a break from it!

After an afternoon of fun in the park,
the bus left Bangkok and rolled us on to Pattaya. We stopped on a
road that had many Western amenities, including KFC and Starbucks. I
ate Thai food and the kids went for anything they could fit in their
mouths. The teachers seemed to like KFC. The lady that served me my
meal was either very poor at math, which I doubt, or was trying to
'farang' me, and jacked up the price to double. Maybe I surprised ...

... kidding, I don’t think she reads this anyway). Against the odds I actually did wash the bike somewhere in my bug-addled state. I didn’t do a very good job of it though but it’s cleaner than she was and i’ve probably saved a few kilos in weight too. The chain I gave a good blast with the lube and now most of the **** has gone. That should stand her in better stead than being caked in sand and grease. Don’t get me wrong, there’s no fixing it ...
