... opening until the end of the month long curfew. This means we won't open until September 15th, two weeks from now. For me, this is a bonus, because it gives me two more weeks to plan and get ready - teachers NEVER feel like there is enough time to get ready. Plus we will get four additional days off.

On those off days, many teachers are planning to go somewhere - Greece, Spain, the US, Kenya, etc. I'm thinking about going to the beach (the RED SEA ...

I had five full days in Cairo but aside from the museum and the Pyramids tour the only other thing I managed to take in was Al-Azhar Park. A taxi ride from my hostel should have costs just 10 Pounds each way but I knew it wouldn't be that simple. Here's the thing with cab drivers: even going for one with a metre won't help you because then they'll just take to the longest route possible instead. You win ...
