... of seeing all Egypt has to offer. We booked some flights and a tour with a good company and off we went. Now Egypt is still on the "essential travel only" list and there is still tension within the government but we thought it would be ok, especially with a big travel company...

We arrived in Cairo late Sunday night after an awesome British airways flight. It was like an international one for five hours! Great seats, spare seat beside us, good food ...

I actually felt a little sorry for the touts. All the older package tourists hopped off the bus and took off after their guides, ignoring the touts. I seemed to be their best hope and even I wasn’t interested. I looked out at the dusty little town.
