We woke up early and were ready to spend the day in Prague. In the pictures I attached to this post, you see Hails brushing her teeth in our room at a cool sink, Ez and Hails keeping busy on their iPods while they wait for us to plan the day, and a shot of what my dad's bathroom looked like-it is the original tile from many years ago...WOW! As we started our walk down the hill from our hotel, we saw the cutest bookshop and it had a mural on the wall with Moomin in it. We popped ...

This process is further complicated by the fact ...

... Our tour started at St. Wenceslas Square, where countless demonstrations against communist occupation took place over two decades. Later we came upon the huge 15th century Powder Tower, the Prague Old Town Square, and finally our tour pointed us down a narrow alley where at the end is a lovely café with a view of Charles Bridge. On the way we happened upon a free choir concert at St. Nicholas Church, ...

    Lesser Town? Oh Lesser Town!

We got dropped off in the so called Lesser Town of Prague. It is only called this because it was built later than the Old Town of Prague. But it is not lesser in interesting things to see and do. We walked along streets of cobblestones from the 1700's, visited beautiful symetrical French gardens in an estate that included a huge bird cage with owls in it, and walls decorated to look like the inside of a cave (apparently this was quite the rage during ...
