The only turnoff with this hostel is that it is huge and accommodates hundreds of people. The majority of these people are youths, ages 12-14 is my guess. Being in this hostel was like being in a noisy school cafeteria.

Only if you can't find any other place to sleep

Leo Lagrange hostel is located outside the city of Paris, in the district of Clichy. Although it has a metro station within walking distance (250 mts approx), the neighborhood is not nice, especially after the sun goes down. It has a rehab center crossing the street so it is not infrequent to see addicts lying on the floor. I would recommend it only if you are short on budget and you could not find accommodation in other HI Hostel such as Dartagnan.
