We had 3 nights in this hostel, and were pretty impressed over all. The only negatives were that our room was in a different building to the kitchen which was located in another building just around the corner.. and we had to be out of the building between 11am and 3pm!
but on the positive side.. they offered a free Pizza dinner EVERYNIGHT we were there.. the pizza was good and it provided a good opportunity to meet other people and make friends!
We recommended this place to all people we met later on our trip! and would continue to recommend it! :)

I enjoyed this hostel. Helpful staff. Clean and pretty comfy beds. I didn't like their breakfast or coffee.

    The Eternal City

I arrived in Rome on Thursday evening, got to the hostel around 9:30 and promptly passed out. Good thing, too, because since then I have walked about 35 miles. I went to the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon, and the Vatican. I actually saw the Pope give a little speech thing on Sunday, which was kind of cool. I mean, I'm not a religious person but …

Robbed incognito by a post office

The plan today was to go to the post office in the morning to send home the things we brought with us but haven't used yet and then take the Metro to the catacombs and then the beach. However, we didn't end up seeing the catacombs or the beach because we were stuck at the post office the entire morning!

    Blank day, ITALY

Today was our chill out day to catch up on our homework, plan new adventures, get ourselves organised and relax... Ahhh... It was a nice change from the constant go go go. We have booked a three day tour of Capri Island and Pompeii which was recommended by a fellow traveller staying in our hostel room. We are both looking forward to it!

I was very unlucky today (or lucky depending on how you want to interpret it).

We had a tour booked to see the Vatican at 1:00 pm. We decided to walk there so we could see all of the less famous monuments of Rome along the way. We were about three or four blocks away from the hostel when a felt a large wet plop on my shoulder. Yup, you …

Breakfast this morning was included in the accommodation. It consisted of a single croissant and coffee or tea, hardly a substantial meal to prepare our bodies for all of the walking we had ahead of us today. It was a big day.

First up on our itinerary was the Colosseum. We joined a tour group and it was well worth the extra cost. We …
