Good Morning to a very cold beginning, but with sunshine, flat water, and beautiful view of Cannes and Vieux Port from a little under a mile away above my coffee cup. Ooh what a relief this is going to be, so a 20 minutes run. Around 10:30a.m. as we left the islands, and ambled across the shallow waters, into Vieux Port, I found myself silently crying, thankful and blessed for yet another wonderful trip, and safe return to Cannes. ... in. We relaxed until 5-6 and then caught the train back Nice. For dinner we headed back into Old town, our preferred restaurant was closed on trip advisor, so we just found one near by. After dinner so had some nice ice-cream and shisha.

I enjoyed Nice, but I don't really see or understand the hype that often surrounds the place. The beaches are good but the city isn't too interesting. Wouldn't be in a rush to head back, but it is nice ...
