The Cradle Rocked me!

After a frozen evening at the backpackers, we woke to a beautiful clear day...doesn't get any better...for viewing Cradle Mountain which is in clouds 8 out of 10 days. Saw a wombat on the trail...they look like a small bear from a distance...and the lack of wind made for near perfect reflections on the water

The Ghan was a bloody uncomfortable journey, for 2 nights I managed just a few minutes kip every hour, getting into Adelaide about mid day, this was even after sharing a few beers on board with an English lad from Chorley - Cheers Rob... We managed this in spite of the bloody train crew continuously telling us to vacate the tables in the restaurant …

Our flight landed in Launceston, a small city at the top of the island, on a Bank …

Beautiful Place - Snarky Management

It was very cold and management's policy about keeping exterior doors open at all times made for very uncomfortable showers, cold breakfasts. But the restored home and accommodations, kitchen were nice. Need more pots in the kitchen. Managers need a course in people skills.
