Van Diemen's Land

A travel blog entry by jamieselina

We decided to take a road trip, and with such a tight budget we could only afford one. For that reason, we picked Tasmania. It's often overlooked by tourists and small enough to drive around in a week. Plus we'd heard great things about the scenery and food.

Our flight landed in Launceston, a small city at the top of the island, on a Bank …

Taz from Tasmania

A travel blog entry by gemhutchinson

Well… We flipped our oh so lucky coin and ended up in Taz (incase you hadn't guessed) and after 3 nights of backpacking we have decided that this just isn’t hardcore enough for us city slicker wanna be outbacks… So. We have hung up our wardrobe and ditched the bunks beds in place of a tiny tent and some cheepo sleeping bags! Just …

Brunch zum Sekt

A travel blog entry by mcdowel

Light trip for the last day!

A travel blog entry by mrduby

Sunshine appeared in the early morning when I took a stroll uphill the Gowrie village. After I left the village, I slowly drove around the mountains. Under the morning sun, the scenery just looked serene and unearth-like, picturesque so to speak. I had to stop many times to marvel at the sights. Cows and sheep outnumber human greatly, all the land …

And I don't like schedules and being in places on time and when arriving in one place already worrying about getting to the next one in time. But I'll …

    Beautiful Place - Snarky Management

It was very cold and management's policy about keeping exterior doors open at all times made for very uncomfortable showers, cold breakfasts. But the restored home and accommodations, kitchen were nice. Need more pots in the kitchen. Managers need a course in people skills.
