      Beautiful Place - Snarky Management

It was very cold and management's policy about keeping exterior doors open at all times made for very uncomfortable showers, cold breakfasts. But the restored home and accommodations, kitchen were nice. Need more pots in the kitchen. Managers need a course in people skills.

Although it was still dry, showers were expected later on today. We drove the narrow road up to Dove Lake where we parked our car. The summit was the goal today. On our way to the first outlook passing by some …

      Looking through Launceston

A travel blog entry by cheli

Having done so much the day before, we compensated for it by sleeping in this morning. Launceston was up and enjoying the sunlight before we emerged.

We cruised on our bikes through the streets intending to head into the city and follow the heritage trail, but noticed a sign for the Launceston farmers market. It was quite small (I think...

      Sunday July 12

Seems we are always up at the crack of dawn heading somewhere. Today it is to Launceston, Tasmania. We got great deals with Jetstar who have cornered the direct flights from Brisbane to Launceston. We arrived at Brisbane airport about 6am while most of the city residents were still curled up under their doonas. How nice t...
