After a rather uneventful drive, about five hours later I reach Sin City. I check in and catch up with S and J at The Sugar Factory at the Paris hotel. This, being my first time meeting S (and J and everyone else), ends up being a bit exciting. Sarah and I hug and we exchange a few hugs before I grab a seat at the other end of the table (there were about 10 of us), again introducing myself to their family and friends.

Day 41

... a little and I went to our Hotel. Jackie stayed on and it was quite safe as we are just next door to The Aria. Further there is a lot of security around.

I watched TV and prepared for our Flight to Los Angeles and then the shuttle to Anaheim. One thing Jackie wanted me to put into the diary was that she was unable to use her phone for texts or calls as the App used to keep in contact was not working.

Well - thats it for another day.


Day 5 (part 2): Las Vegas

... and easy to get lost it was? It was nearly 11pm at this point, so mum and dad got a taxi back to the hotel, whilst Will and I decided to walk back so that we could keep looking at things. Along the 2 mile-or-so walk back to the hotel we saw the 'Volcano', which is the Mirage's take on the Bellagio fountains, with water fountains lit red to look like lava, and fire shooting up into the sky, all in a mock volcano made of rocks outside the hotel.
