BBQ for $5 every night, free breakfast every morning, pancakes at the wkd. Rooms were as I expected. Was just a shame that you had to rent everything but it's understandable if no one cleans up and stuff goes missing. Nice pool (although unusually freezing for the weather) outside with seating area, picnic area, pool table.

Well it's been a lovely relaxing couple of days. On Thursday night when we arrived we went out for a meal and went to the new club here emporium then onto the Rock bar. It was a lovely night filled with a very bad DJ, then a couple of amazing Jazz musicians. The following day after a easy morning and free breakfast we went into town. Alice is a …

Didn't sleep great in the swag as it was freezing and I was bursting to go to the toilet from about 2am but it was too cold and dark to get out of my cosy sleeping bag!! We were all up and about by 4.45am and after packing up camp we headed straight to Kings Canyon. We did a 4 hour walk around the canyon which was really beautiful- almost felt like …

Up at 5am this morning to catch the sun rise over Uluru and Kata Tjuta. We then hiked 6km (3 hours) around and up Kata Tjuta. Tough walk but worth it. My feet have definitely had it. No more shoes for the rest of the trip, just thongs!! Dropped 2 people off at the Uluru airport before making our 5 hour journey back to Alice Springs, listening to …

We ...
