BBQ for $5 every night, free breakfast every morning, pancakes at the wkd. Rooms were as I expected. Was just a shame that you had to rent everything but it's understandable if no one cleans up and stuff goes missing. Nice pool (although unusually freezing for the weather) outside with seating area, picnic area, pool table.

Om 04.00 uur stonden wij weer op. Ontbijten, omkleden, spullen opruimen, inpakken en gaan! 05.00 waren wij onderweg naar Kings Canyon. Om 06.00 uur startte onze wandeltocht naar boven. Deel 1: heart attack hill. Eenmaal boven even …

Travel day Wauw I just realized that I started writing this blog in English, which means I'm starting to think in English now. Over geacclimatiseerd gesproken.. Haha.

The Australian outback is huge and beautiful. That’s the conclusion of a three day trip leaving from Alice Springs to Uluru, KataTjuta and Kings Canyon. On Friday,(6th of November) I landed in Alice Springs. The first thing I noticed was the heat, it was hot, really hot! Jut a short comment on Alice Springs, it is a weird city. People call it …

13:00 Had a long lie-in today (well it felt long...got up at 07:40 instead of 05:00!) and made use of the free breakfast. Folded up my washing and put it away before transferring the pictures from memory cards to my USB. At last! A computer that recognised my SD cards. Have just over 2000 photos already with another week to go! Going to be fun …
