    ... because they had displays from 19th and 20th century Swedish history in addition to modern exhibits, such as "Sugar Shocker", how the consumption of sugar has changed over the centuries. After the 3-4 hours in the museum, the group stopped to get a hot dog and walked back into the center of town and went to Stockholm's Ice Bar of the Ice Hotel.     Back in town, we toured the medieval museum, which was built after a construction project found the ancient city walls in Gamla Stan. That was cool. Later, we had a beer on a moored boat that is a hostel and restaurant/bar.

    For dinner, we gorged at a vegetarian all you can eat buffet and walked around a bit more before having some late coffee before reviewing the days ...

We took a cruise around the harbor this afternoon and were surprised to see lovely urban parks and historic homes as well as the many large buildings.
