Hi Everyone, Another update. We left Panama City and began the drive in our new car to our beach, Barqueta. It is a long drive about 6 hours. It really should only take about 3 hours, but the speed at which you can go is limited by the fact that there are small towns and villages all the way and you keep having to reduce your speed to 40 km. Santuario que esta en la frontera con Ecuador, una vez en la terminal para llegar hasta la frontera agarras un taxi y te das un paseo de 15min. durante los últimos 5km. (cuesta abajo) se ve un montón de gente de todas las edades corriendo hacia el santuario (es bastante curioso considerando que eran las 5:30 de la mañana). Sanctuary on the border with Ecuador. Carnival started on Friday 1st, as lovely as Boquete was, I was really ready to move on. I was advised that traveling during carnival was not so wise but decided to take a risk, which lucky for me paid off.
