Clean hostel with friendly staff. It´s a little bit of a hike into town but taxis are cheap (probably the only cheap thing in this town...).

Ushuaia
Arrived into Ushuaia airport at around midday. Very cold but beautiful. Hostel is really near to the airport. Nice and clean place with 2 kitchens and the receptionist was friendly and helpful. We wandered in to town, had a lovely dinner in Marco Polo restaurant and went for a drink in Dublin, Ushuaia´s Irish pub that had the best reccommendations …
El fin del mundo
Hola from the end of the world! Got into Ushuaia at 20.00, then in true Diane style went out to find some people to talk to. Found an Irish bar and sampled the local brew Beagle, very nice too. The guy who was at reception in the hostel informed us it would likely be ok …
At the end of the world ;-)
Day 9-11:
I was lucky: On 24th morning I went to the bus terminal in Port Madryn to buy a ticket to Ushuaia - it's a 30 hours ride and I heard the tickets are sold out way in advance during peak season. There was one ticket left! Booked at 10:30am, departure at 1:30pm - that's how I like it. Booked with AndesMar.
This time my sitting …
