Pleasure, pleasure, pleasure! Great place to stop over in Ushuaia, in spotless condition and very friendly and helpful staff. Safe parking for the odd 4x4 or overland motorbikes in the secure garden. Free wi-fi/internet and breakfast. Great beds!

The mattresses might need replacing, but this is one of the nicer hostels you will ever stay in. Staff are helpful and friendly. WIFI is also fast and reliable. It's close to the airport, which makes it a bit of a walk from the town centre...

Clean hostel with friendly staff. It´s a little bit of a hike into town but taxis are cheap (probably the only cheap thing in this town...).

Change of plans dus!

It started out sedately enough on the bus from Punta Arenas on the southern mainland tip of South America to Ushuaia in Argentine Tierra del Fuego where the road ends. They call it Fin de Mundo, Spanish for 'end of the world'. Before long it became evident that our driver fancied himself as the Ayrton Senna of Argentina. One speed - flat out. We …

I got up and got all my stuff packed together at the hostel. I went downstairs to have breakfast, but the only thing that was there was a plate of stale bread that had clearly been left there since yesterday, and some marmalade that was in an open jar that had never seen the inside of a refrigerator. I didn’t eat anything. I was also supposed …
