Jujuy continued to be as friendly and beautiful as all the other Argentine citys we had visited. We visited the Museo Arquelogico Provincial. The main attraction is a 3000 year old fertility goddess figure, depicted with snakes for hair and in the act of giving birth. There´s also a selection of skulls with cranial deformaities.

On arriving in Salta (another 4am arrival!), we got into a Hostal (Residential Elena) where the guy on duty was amazingly sweet and (after a lot of confusion) insisited that we say to the ladies the next day that we arrived at 6am, NOT 4am. ... carpiendo del hotel a una velocidad crucero de 100 kms x hs. El viaje fue fantastico, Marcos fue super amable y charlamos durante todo el viaje. Increiblemente, llegamos a la puerta del aeropuerto a las 18:55 hs. justo 5 minutos antes de que tuvieramos que subir al avión.
