... is cool enough that local people are wearing jackets, and Marjolaine needs a sweater. She brought her sweater along as we walked to the outdoor restaurant located in the gardens, for dinner. On the way we passed the peacock and the little flock of guinea fowl that wander the grounds. There used to be a cage of monkeys as well, but they’re no longer present for whatever reason.

A group meets there every Thursday night and every Saturday. We got back in the car for less than five seconds before stopping to meet with Samuel and his family. The farther down it is the more air movement can lessen the heat, but the easier access would be for a snatch-and-grab aimed at our cameras or shoulder bags.
