      Amazing appartment in the heart of Venice

      An appartment all to ourselves, perhaps cos it was the off season. Close to the station and in a nice local neighbourhood.

      ... s David everywhere. The original sculpture is in the Galleria dell'Accademia but the queue was huge so didn't want to be a part of that. The Palazzo Pitti and the gardens adjoining - Bobboli Garden were huge.       Venice - 28th -30th May 2012 We got the train to Venice from Verona which took just over an hour. We were lucky to find accommodation on the main island of Venice so didn't have to figure out the boat taxis.
