Venice - 28th -30th May 2012 We got the train to Venice from Verona which took just over an hour. We were lucky to find accommodation on the main island of Venice so didn't have to figure out the boat taxis. An appartment all to ourselves, perhaps cos it was the off season. Close to the station and in a nice local neighbourhood.
