... me all night of where we were staying. I'm not normally such a prima-donna but in the visibly dirty places I struggle to sleep because Im worried of whats going to have nibbled on you when you awake. But hey no bite marks, it was cheap and most importantly it saved Liz from traipsing around town. In the morning it was apparent that Liz wouldn't be well enough to travel so consulting the guidebook it was off to find a nicer hotel ...

tuk (5km) from there we though we may as well go for it and walk all the way
home, so all in all we walked almost 10km (in flip flops) and were knackered
when we got in. There was no way we wanted to go out again a couple of hours
later for food so we ordered a KFC online to be delivered to our hotel (we had
worked out the delivery services already in Thailand) about 40 mins later the
hotel reception called to say it had ...

... all OK after a short chat but I am not able to talk to anyone at the Embassy about this. Not sure what we will do at the moment but probably will have to reapply early next year with a letter of explanation - Happy New Year already !! Jai starts to clean up whilst I unpack. Waiting for the night-train
1h busride in the first row of the bus, half day in Phitsanulok, night-train to Bangkok.
During this half day we were looking for a mouth organ for my friend Patrick, walking around the city, checking some markets, eating a lot of snacks (again ;)), watching aerobic in the public and enjoying river-views while having a nice dinner.
My nighttrain was comfortable, compared with night-trains in India, China and so on. All beds are arranged in the moving direction of ...
