Had the day to myself and decided to explore CDO on foot. The slow pace of a pedestrian allows you to see the details of daily life. I started at the Cogon central market. Virtually every transit route in the city passes through the market as most people will make a daily stop here to shop. Awoke early at 5.30am to prepare for our white water rafting adventure. Unfortunately there was no running water available at House of Joshua so no wash could be had. After dressing and a quick bite to eat we headed out. We caught a shuttle bus to the supermarket and waited for the rafting jeepney to pick us up. ... screen door ended up being really loud in a silent house, but I don't care. You gotta do what you gotta do. The reason I didn't figure out the other indoor bathroom was because it was in the connecting hallway between the rooms. If only I paid more attention during our 2-minute quick tour! :/
