Today the whole gang had a day out at the beach. We hired a jeepney for the day, all came aboard, it was amazing how we all fit in, it was quite a squash. ... full advantage of! We treated ourselves to a tasty Philippino dessert, a coconut filled with purple ice cream and a variety of fruits, delicious! We headed back to base in a taxi to be dropped off metres away from the entrance, snake territory. Across from City Hall was a Church all lit up for evening prayer. I think this was the first church I had seen properly and from the inside since arriving in the Philippines.
