The breakfast bell rang at 8am - late for us, very casual breakfast here for the Royal guests. Twas a Euro style breakfast - tea, coffee, bread rolls (white only, but nice), sliced meat, cheese and that was it. We tucked in and enjoyed a very restrained breakfast. ... which were very charming, not necessarily expected by either of us. All of the people we met were very friendly to us, the only problem was that they generally only spoke Hungarian and German, which made Chris pick his brain saying every word he could think of in those languages! Off we go to Bratislava to drop the rental car off and spend the night in Old Town. Tomorrow morning it's an early rise to catch the train to Lake Bled, ...
... city tovisit The Youngs in Urom. We had a lovely evening on their front balcony, watching the sunset and catching up. There's a new pasta recipe added to the favourites too.
Thank goodness all the transport connections (walk, bus, tram, metro and another walk) back “home” went without a hitch. As it was we got back close on midnight.

We had some “admin” to ...
... we went for dinner. It was excellent, and gave us quite the range of local foods, so everyone could have what they wanted after a long afternoon of swimming. After such a filling meal, we decided to walk to the shores of Lake Balaton, which took us through a small park and across the railroad tracks. Our quest for ice cream was thwarted by the fact that all the lake front places were still on winter hours, so either closed or not open ...
When we arrived in Keszthely we went for a drive around town.
I love this town, it makes it to my top charts because I love little small towns like this one.
And the unit is really cool and we are also having Easter here.
The first day was really lazy we did nothing all day until we went to a restaurant.
