Really great location, and a friendly staff. Everyone felt very safe, can't complain too much. Free breakfast, even if it was a big skimpy.

The staff were very friendly and the location was perfect. Easy walking distance to Temple bar the best place to be during any night of the week. Only complaint is there are two many stairs if you are needing to get a large suitcase to the top floor. The free breakfast was simple but much appreciated.

          Great location and common room

We stayed for 3 nights in Kinlay House. The accommodations were basic but clean--two bunk beds and a water-efficient shower. The common room is great--a few computers, free ping-pong, and pool for 1 euro a game. Additional computers in the kitchen room too, which was handy. The location is GREAT--literally right next to Christ Church Cathedral, handy for visiting the major churches, Guinness factory, Dublin Castle, and Temple Bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

A simple but good place in the city center. I would go there again if I visit Dublin.

Well talk about an interesting start to this trip. The plan was pretty simple, 9pm flight to Dublin, arrive at 8:40, 3 hour layover and and 11:45 flight to Copenhagen. Thanks to the crazy thunderstorms in New York yesterday the flight from Dublin was rerouted to Boston which meant that even though the rain had stopped and we were clear to fly at 9 …

I'll say right now that I should have booked more time in Ireland. I'm definitely going back to do the things that I wanted to do but couldn't. Those things include a day trip through the Wicklow Mountains to see Glendalough, a 6th century monastery. I want to see Newgrange, which is a Celtic Temple older than the Pyramids of Giza and Stonehenge, …
