Really great location, and a friendly staff. Everyone felt very safe, can't complain too much. Free breakfast, even if it was a big skimpy.

      A great place

The staff were very friendly and the location was perfect. Easy walking distance to Temple bar the best place to be during any night of the week. Only complaint is there are two many stairs if you are needing to get a large suitcase to the top floor. The free breakfast was simple but much appreciated.

      Great location and common room

We stayed for 3 nights in Kinlay House. The accommodations were basic but clean--two bunk beds and a water-efficient shower. The common room is great--a few computers, free ping-pong, and pool for 1 euro a game. Additional computers in the kitchen room too, which was handy. The location is GREAT--literally right next to Christ Church Cathedral, handy for visiting the major churches, Guinness factory, Dublin Castle, and Temple Bar. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

A simple but good place in the city center. I would go there again if I visit Dublin.

Woke up nice an early to a nice day outside. After filling up on breakfast we set off on our long walk planned for the day. We would walk about eight or so miles out to an Island called Bull Island. There is a nature sanctuary out there and we wanted to see the sea.

It took us right about two hours to get out there. We walked through some …

We were officially the second and third people at breakfast this morning. We ate our fill of toast and cereal. With full bellies we had a look at the map and headed out for a street that we passed yesterday on the bus.

One of the main streets here in Dublin is called O'Connell Street. There is a giant spire in the middle of the road. It …

Today marks the two year anniversary of our departure from the United States. To be honest it feels like much longer than that. It is kind of weird that today we do find ourselves in an English speaking country again, just not good old America... not yet.

We took our last morning walk in the cold for a while (we hope). We took a local bus …

Last I left off we had just finished our
      tour.

Our bus has miraculously dropped us off
within a literal stonesthrow from our hostel. World cup fever had hit hard
since we had left and the locals were going gaga for it. We dropped our bags
off and head to a pub with Miles (guy reminds us so much of davo the moocha it< …
