    ... since just last night we decided not to add Madagascar to our trip. We will be close to it in South Africa, but there is pretty bad infrastructure there and it's pretty expensive. We decided we didn't want to pay all that money for the flight, guides, car and driver, etc to see some ring tailed lemurs and the baobab tree. Or for bragging rights.

    ... We just couldn't face any more Tsing Tao! The following day we made our way to the Peak Tram, an old tram designed by a Scot that has been running for 120 years, originally developed to transport the rich up to their houses on the Peak over looking Hong Kong. The ride itself was pretty fun with the tracks reaching 27 degrees at times, and the view at the top is pretty spectacular so long as you have good weather.     ... inevitably (and often rightly), have to give up more individual responsibility - accept the traffic lights.

    So that's it. In my next, and final Blog, I will try to make a few more summary comments about the trip. I will also pick some of my favourite photos from the last 10 weeks, which I will put in categories, such as best four Buddha shots, best four Markets, best four Kids etc.

    ... and temples, I did get completely lost when I tried to walk to Victoria Peak - turns out you can't just walk up it - which now I think about it, is actually not so surprising considering it is MOUNTAIN! So I had to take a taxi to the top and then I walked the trail around the top to see the views of the whole of Hong Kong...unfortunately it was kinda cloudy so I didn't see a great deal - it was still a very pleasant walk though!

    Dan and I went to lunch with my aunt her family today! I haven't seen them in almost 20 years! We went for dim sum at the mall across the street from our hostel. This place also had a nice view!
