... father, as would being in a countryside environment. In addition, the children could attend the local government school, a hour of English a day at COF's Treak English school, and are still within a five minute drive from where they currently live. They would also have access to COF's school playground and the open space to run around and simply be children!
The second option is the Sinclair Centre which is near the river, and is ...
... sorry to see my wee spotty one go, but it has taken a lot of punishment and is showing definite signs of wear and tear. Bought some other stuff too but a press embargo on the details may be in place till 25 December. Had my first alcoholic drink since arriving on SE Asia – a Mojito which seemed more lime juice than anything else but at only US $1.50 could I complain? And that is the odd thing here the currency used for tourists is the US $.
On my walk round town it ...
... of what the trip’s theme seemed to be – hint: foot massage (Cliff will know this answer) since my drink had an unusual name I had to go for it and it is the name of one of my favorite movies…Pulp Fiction. It was tasty and quite overpowering much like the movie at times.
The happy hour on pub street had 2 for 1 drinks and I got a margarita that was mostly tequila and a splash of lime for $2 and at 2 for 1, you can do the math.
... Kambodscha.
... only tell if you buy!" Clever little doofuses for sure, but trained. Of all the children I ran into during the trip I asked them the same round of questions i.e. "Do you go to school?" "What do you want to be when you grow up?" and I got the same answers, as if these children were somehow programmed. It was mostly, "I have no money to go to school right now" and them wanting to be tour guides when they got older. The children who sell things are mostly around ...
Siem Reap, Cambodia izuniaWoh...... this place is stunning (even if you are templed out) you will appreciate this place. It is also a great a pride to Cambodians a nd i can see why. The place is on the national flag - that is how important this is to Cambodia. (And a good beer is named after the temple)
Arrived early in the morning to see the temple at dawn and it did not disappoint, it is a huge Cambodian temple with a ...
... Maybe if we had been able to get a word in edgewise, there may have been some hope for that!
Afterwards, we walked around the hot hot village a bit in the areas where the land was still high enough to be dry. They said that would be covered in water in a few weeks. We headed back - another jarring and bumpy motorbike ride folloed by a jarring and bumpy tuk-tuk ride. We woke up with sore backs the next day!
... and found 5 plastic chairs for us! Not the ideal place for a evening sit down but you know it was quite funny. It was at this point when our hopes of a nice evening sleep started to fade. Or even if we'd get the bus at all.
When it finally arrived being hailed by the policeman we were asked by the driver that we had booked 5 plastic chairs hadn't we? (So, in Asia when the bus is full that's OK there's still plenty more room as they get plastic garden chairs and ...

After I came back from Laos to Thailand. I got a tourist visa for Cambodia at Same Same guesthouse agency of Chaing Mai and headed for Siem Reap via Bangkok. Needless to say, the best attraction in Cambodia or in Southeast Asia is Angkor Wat. Without the ruins, I had not bothered to visit Cambodia. Two days after I finished my course of Thai massage and strolled around the night market with a British girl, I took a bus to Bangkok in the evening ...
