Super Sunday. Still caught up in the buzz of football after last night's game at the Nou Camp, today we decided to go to an Irish pub, very close to our hostel, to watch Manchester United vs. Liverpool and Arsenal vs. Manchester City. In the pub we met several other British tourists who were out to watch the game too, including a couple from …

Day 24 - Nou Camp

Been waiting for this day for ages. We got up relatively early and headed for the Camp Nou via metro to collect our tickets for the big game tonight. After picking up our tickets from outside the stadium, which by the way is quite impressive from the outside, (but couldn't wait to get inside later tonight) we ended up spending 2 hours in the club&# …

We checked out of our hostel at around 10:30am before heading off for yet another pizza and a drink. Thankfully we could keep our bags back at the hostel so we didn't have to lug them around Rome for the whole day. Alessandro downtown hostel is a great hostel, highly recommended, very friendly and the location is ideal.

We had a few hours …

Benvingut a Barcelona!

- Learned upon arrival that I booked myself into an [in]famous party hostel in the heart of Barcelona. Good start.
- Went on to decide that this whole '6 am clubbing' thing that Europe is so fond of is the bane of any traveler's existence, if not just their sleeping pattern.
- Spent a day wandering the streets of Barri Gotic, Las Ramblas, …

I left Kellie, who wanted to spend an extra night in San Sebastian, and jumped on my train. Despite the comfort of the roomy tran and being very tired due to a late night out in San Sebastian, I couldn't sleep much. Nonetheless I enjoyed a glass of wine and put my makeup on and got ready for Friday night in Barcelona, arriving on the train at 10:15 …

Really good location and the place for people who want to get drunk and pick up women. The staff were a bunch of fucks and it was rubbish that you had to pay 2.50€ for a beer (weren't allowed to drink your own) but overall pretty decent.
