Very cheap, 75 TB for a single room, shared bathroom. Awesome right on the river, great for a swim, it is so hot here. Cheapest restaurant in town, food is nice, great value for money. Sugar member bar is close by, jolly frog is a great place to make friends and chill out. BE VERY CAREFUL, YOU CAN EASILY GET STUCK HERE FOR LONGER THEN PLANNED, great place.

Good clean, nice accomodation and very reasonable. It's right on the river with amazing views and awesome garden. Staff weren't too friendly though and service in the restaurant was poor.

Jolly Frog was definitely one of the place in Kanchanaburi with the best value for the money. Good rooms, great view of the water, nice surroundings and garden at the back and close to all the fun stuff on the strip. Highly recommended.

As soon as I was alone again I felt like there was a load off my shoulders. It is nice to hang out with Thai's and for them to bring you into their world but the constant struggle to communicate mixed with the feisty aggravation of a part-time Thai girlfriend were starting to wear my lazy ass down and I needed some quiet time and some sleep. I …

I picked up the minibus from the Ratanacosin hotel. It actually had the Royal hotel written on it which led to me wandering around in the rain for half an hour because I had been told to look for the Ratanacosin. I gave this dodgy looking bloke 120 Baht (he was literally just sitting on a stool under an umbrella next to a sign written in marker pen …

Left Bangkok at 7.15, to walk to the boat taxi where the Information desk had advised to get to Thonburi train station. Water taxi informed use couldn't go north on river and had to go south to other station and then transfer. Seemed like a million miles away to station to find out that we couldn't get direct train to Kanchanaburi and needed to be …
