    ... travellers were more than happy to display their outrage but that did't get them far. In the overall scheme of the things the departure tax is only few dollars each and is just something to remember and be prepared for if travelling through Indonesia.

    However we must say that we were impressed with Garuda and I would fly with them again.

    ... It was a great fun evening, I met some very interesting people and got very sore feet from new high heels! I also experienced my first Jakartan leech in the form of an Mancunian expat and his married brother. Despite being politely disinterested they would not leave me alone to the extent I had to tell him I was engaged (sorry Ross...) but still they would not leave me alone and insisted then it was my fault for not telling them earlier that I was taken. ...

    ... shops, a walking track, 5 pools, squash courts, saunas, playgrounds and on and on and on. We spent our first morning playing badminton and swimming, followed by an outing to the local markets and sushi.

    We are quite the spectacle everywhere we go. Meals can be quite chaotic, not to mention the absolute madness every time we need to go somewhere as a group and load up our bags and sundry children into cars. Instructions are given out, but ...

    ... out the puppet and start again from the beginning. As you can see I was being bombarded with information from Aldy and I didn’t know what to do with myself. He told me everything as we were walking around the museum and also while we were in his fathers workshop. There was mention of specific stories, other cultures style of puppets and much more that I could keep writing about for hours but I will leave it there.
