      ... was closed, so we went back to the pempek place we had went to before with Laila. Rick and Jake had the pempek while I ate the tekwan (clear broth, not as spicy).

This was the same as usual except that the Chinese New Year is tomorrow and so there are cherry blossom, dragon and horse decorations everywhere and a new special mocktail was available.
