... sold at the feria were 50 to 60% cheaper than those in the U.S. If one is inclined to eat a Costa Rican diet of fresh foods, the savings are substantial. We did not eat anything but fresh food during our stay. Costa Rican produce is incredibly good. For example, the pineapple sold in Costa Rica does not even taste like the same Costa Rican pineapples sold in our Florida markets.
