Dublin and beyond...
Wow, Ireland brought no disappointments. It was my first BIG trip (by plane) outside of the Netherlands. We took off from Brussels Charleroi (a smaller airport about 45 minutes outside of Brussels) at 9:30 in the morning and arrived in Dublin at about 10:00. A very short flight! Today we left Doolin and headed up north for a drive through the Burren region, it is the strangest landscape i have ever seen. Yes we are enjoying ourselves and luckily the girls LIKE castles and medieval history. Some of the photos are a little blurry , I am using my IPhone so sorry in advance ...
Sixmilebridge

I think I'm doing just fine though. Today we drove around for nearly 2 hours looking for killone abbey, but unfortunately couldn't find it. We did find clarecastle and ennis, and eventually found our way to sixmilebridge. We ...
