    ... the port to this main strip of hostels, hopped out waved goodbye to our cab buddies and headed down this street. Not expecting much, the first place we walked into was completely full and a bad feeling washed

    The ferry from Split to the island of Hvar was a large catamaran boat, which took about 50 minutes. Of course, I slept about half the ride, but it was still nice. We disembarked and walked the 1.8 kilometers on a gently sloping road to Earthers Hostel. Along the way, the vegetation was gorgeous - full of flowering plants, agave, exotic palms, and tropical fruit trees. We picked a fresh lemon on the way.     ... a night. The next day we took an all day boat tour to the Green Cave, the Blue Cave and the island of Vis. There's another entry coming with the amazing pictures from the Blue Cave.     Breakfast at Loc cafe tucked away in a side street. Anya had pancakes so she was happy.
