I walked around the bay in the morning to grab some drugs from the pharmacy and was greeted with donuts and fruit for breakfast when I returned. Milan & I did yoga on the footpath before heading to a bay that sounds like Chicken Parmigiana. Sharelle steered us for the whole 12 miles!

We went to the beach while Dal made us an antipasto platter for lunch. Sharelle stood on a sea urchin which really hurt (fun to pick up and play with but not so fun standing on) but ...

I just love early departures. Don't you? We had to get up during the 4 o'clock hour to catch a very very early boat to the island of Hvar. It didn't help that we awoke to pouring rain and overcast skies. Unfortunately this boat had seats like on an airplane with little room and sadly no moveable arm rests. However, I was able to contort my body into a "c" shape / jelly bean shape and semi sleep through the ride to Hvar. I'm sure the Dramamine I took helped as well.

... Was incredible and very enjoyable will post photos, but basically a huge seafood platter- prawns, squid, tuna steaks and mediterranean vegetables! Very reasonably priced it was big and set for two we paid no more than 7 each!

Heading back to our hostel, pretty exhausted, bed was looking great...not for Alice she was keen to push on! Animal.

Tonight was 'Carpe Diem' basically a party on a separate little island just 10mins on a boat off the coast ...

... years of civilisation in the area, including many artefacts as proof. The trip back to town was easier and at last the rain had stopped. After a coffee break, we took the bus again to Lumbarda at the opposite end of the island, where we visited a local winery. The vineyard overlooked the harbour and we were treated to a wine tasting, prosciutto, goat cheese and liqueurs, all ...

... After instructions from a local farmer (as always in our Croatian and their English), who spends his whole life moving stones from one side of his paddock to the other making beautiful stone walls, we appreciate his efforts and walk 3kms to Milna.

Again everywhere is packed but one restaurant squeezes us in. Another great meal and a suffering but gorgeous waiter tries , without success, very hard to get us a taxi. In the end he cons the owner ...
