All through the countryside we saw piles of rocks that over the centuries had been put into piles and made into fences to divide the land and prevent erosion and provide plots for various crops to be grown.         ... a local family restaurant , Konoba where all the ingredients are local and everything is cooked on sight. What a feast it was! From a plate of cheeses, bread, dips and prosciutto to start, 4 variations of pasta next, lamb cooked on a spit with fresh green salad and this amazing plate of shared desserts. All the wine was local too. It was a real meal of local delights.
        We then headed home as tomorrow morning we are heading to. On a ferry at 5.30am - yes I did say 5.30 ...

        ... then head to a water front busy bar for some drinks in the sun and watch the sun set. There is some fabulous people watching such as those overtanned-too-much-money-and-don't-kno w-what-to-do-with-it, such as a guy at a stag do opening multiple large bottles of Mot and spraying them everywhere.         ... in the sun and making avocado and cream cheese snacks on the smallest crackers you've ever seen. We had decided earlier to get the water taxi into Hvar around 5:30pm, so we all met up at the pick up point and managed to skip the line because Travis recognised one of the drivers as the guy who had ****** up and hit our boat (lightly fortunately) earlier in the day.
