... on the other side of the island) and hired two little boats with two very, very little engines. We would have been better all paddling with our arms out the side. But we travelled in convoy and found some beautiful quiet bays. The second of which was stunning with azure water and a lovely old house on it’s own in the middle of nowhere. We arrived later that night in Split and were pretty exhausted. We all agreed on staying in and getting a good night sleep because the next day we were heading to Zagreb's National Park. We got up early that morning and set out to start hiking. I personally had looked up pictures of the park on google before we had left. The sights we saw were exactly what I saw on google. 1 x Beer & 1 x Glass of good red wine

... for a coffee, and discovered they had Radler on tap - Woo hoo!!! Some decided to go off on a wine tasting side trip. The cycle from Vrboska to Jelsa was really scenic, following the coast and flat enough that we could actually take in the scenery and take pictures!

We stopped in Jelsa for a picnic lunch prepared by our guides, featuring salads, cold meats and cheeses typical for the ...

    Mini Dubrovnik, on an island!

We seriously almost didn't make it here, folks. We missed our boat - so crowded in summer - and rushed to catch a bus. Whew! Once we arrived, we were so so glad we did! We stayed at great place in the old town, top floor, where Rick Steves himself stays! The walls are pink and the air is conditioned.

Sleepy Korcula Old Town, surrounded by Mediterranean blue water, was like a vacation from our vacation. We spent hours bathing and dipping on ...
