So many things that can be done to improve this place but they have let many of the shared facilities run down and appear hell bent on getting as much money as they can without any consideration towards their guests

We arrived in Munich around 6pm and checked into our hostel called Jaegers. It was the shittest hostel we have been to so far. Bad service, 40 bed dorms advertised as 10 bedders by dividing them only by a short wall, fat hairy italians walking around in their jocks scratching their balls, showers with no doors, just big curtains on the outside so …

Nick had the map and conveniently we ended up at Hofbrauhaus (Beer Hall). Where of cause we had to order beer and a pretzel. However music started up and our quick drink turned into dinner as well. …

Another day of exploring Salzburg in the sun, which was a nice change. We only had the morning to fill in as the bus was coming to take us to Munich in the early arvo. We went and looked around the Mirabell Garderns and sang Do-Re-Mi, to Nick's enjoyment. There were people everywhere. But I think I was the only one singing, so Nick wouldn't walk …

We had an 8 hour train from Rimini to Munich with a 45 minute layover in Bologna. Scott’s cousin, Giorgio, lives in Bologna and was going to meet us at the train station. Sadly, we never found one another. I know an 8 hour train ride may sound long and boring, but it was incredible! Most of the ride was though the Alps. The snowcap mountains …
