... in N.Z. as having a camper meant we could turn up to places and not have to worry about vacancies and reading reviews etc.

Finally we started getting there, at least in terms of planning the next few days driving to and stopping in Sydney. However by this time we couldn’t even be bothered to go out for food so we ate some leftover chocolate for dinner before falling asleep. Not a very exciting or productive day, but it was needed.

They were small prawns so by the time I removed the head, tail and legs there was hardly anything left to eat. ... basic. Singapore Airlines - unmatched... not that either resort was responsible!
Accommodation: Nanuku by a mile.
Meals: Nanuku by an arms length.
Activities: Nanuku, mainly due to the abundant, delightful staff and their flexibility.
Snorkelling: Maldives - many more fish.
Weather: Maldives - but I'm prepared to admit that no-one can actually manage that!
Staff: Nanuku - outstandingly so.

It's the Pacific alternative for me next ...
