After a smooth flight, we, we checked in to a small boutique hotel run by two very hospitable brothers that was walking distance to the major sites in the old town. Colleen and I spent the afternoon seeing some of the iconic sights of Istanbul starting with Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque and the old underground water cisterns built by the Byzantines using leftover columns and statues of gods from the greeks. How has this hostel rated in the past?
A little hard to for the Taxi to find, but we did and it was OK for my purpose. Neat, clean with a free all you can eat buffet that offered just enough food items to keep you going.
