Our flight to Istanbul was a short one. At customs we were greeted by a less than professional officer who was skipping tracks on his phone with his headphone securely in both his ears. As we approached he stamped our passports with minimal eye contact and didn't bother asking for our printed visas. Out of the airport we walked towards the metro. …

I love Istanbul. It is everything I wanted it to be but better. I think it is my favourite city. I don't really know what I expected, but what I got was amazing. The city is modern and clean and full of life. The people are wonderful (except for those at the bus station... I'll get to that later), and there is so much to see. I am so glad that I …

We helped Gareth try and sort out a route on his rickety bike back to Sofia and enjoyed the increasing eccentricity of Philip the German. After breakfast we struggled to …

We all had a blast hanging out on the roof top. The breakfast was good. the staff was amazing. The hostel is located close to all of the attractions and it has a tram line right outside to get to any where else.
