well this place is quite different from Byron!!.....sky rise buildings, bit more resorty, loads of clubs an stuff but still good. No sun as yet pffft.....see why its called surfers paradise the waves are mad! beach is again lovely, only a thin strip tho an most of it is shut off for building work but its pretty if you look the other way :)

This is a top pick! Off to the East Coast again. This time we wanted to do Fraser Island and Port Douglas. We went back to Surfers and stayed in Hotel Vegas (again). Apparently as a kid Michael went to a buffet in Vegas with his family and his cousins - he piled his plate so high, that he could barely see over the food.
