... so should be averaging 4kms hour.

A lack of signage thru the mobile sand dunes north of Quininup Brook meant we got a tad challenged .... meaning we couldn't find the track so were effectively "lost", but finally picked it up then crossed the brook and up to Quininup Falls for lunch.... it'd taken us 3 hours and 20 minutes to do this section. ... Australian Ringneck, a native parrot native, just sitting in the tree minding its own business. It preened for us as we snapped pictures, trying to get the perfect shot. Tuesday 19th March



Sue and Winks went for an early morning walk along the beach at Yallingup before breakfast.

We all went for a swim and snorkel after breakfast and saw many lovely tropical fish swimming around the rocks and some just a few meters from the beach.

... a fork when it was offered that way, and in fact they would back away from the fork as if it was an alien life-form. They are such beautiful birds, iridescent green and blue. Apparently they are also quite partial to the Margaret River Brie.


After the bird feeding session we walked into town to get some dinner (because that’s what we really needed after all that cheese!). We justified this activity by the fact that walking 2km there and 2km back ...
