... were blasting through the rock nearly taking Jay's pink thong away. I just managed to grab it in time. Phew, it was close! With all thongs accounted for we flip flopped back to the camper van. After a spot of lunch we headed into Augusta to have a mooch around and drove back alongside the river. Augusta is a lovely picturesque place. After leaving our forest hideaway, I could feel Cape Leeuwin calling!! I remember visiting there on our family trip a few years back and being awestruck by being at the junction of the Southern and Indian Oceans!

... for us ALL of the accommodation in Margaret River was fully booked up so we headed to Bunbury to stay for the night!

We managed to find our way in to an Irish bar in Bunbury for a few drinks that night. The following morning we got up went to take a look at some wild dolphins that visit the beach in Bunbury (not a patch on Kaikoura!) and continued on up the road to Perth!

The jewel in the crown was Lake Cave, as the name suggests there was water in the cave, but not a lake but a stream and there was 300 steps that took us down……phew!
