    I set my alarm nice and early so I could spend some time with the Trekkers before they headed off at 0530. The Inca Trail Trekkers in particular were looking nervous and a little scared. I would have been too...... Lots of hugs and good wishes later, I stood on the sidewalk outside the hotel, doing my best to hold back the tears, and waved them off …

    ... of a shock coming from the serenity of the rainforest. Despite being mostly terrified going to the rainforest I loved almost every moment, not the mozzies so much. It has most definitely been the highlight of Peru so far, Machu Piccu has a lot to live up to.
