... just kept getting pushed back, as waves smashed into me that i couldn't get over, oh my poor wee arms. I think an older surfer dude felt sorry me as he gave me a few pointers in the water and then saw me sitting on the beach and told me not to give up and gave me some more pointers...awww how nice and he said that a lot of surfing is taking nose dives, even when you know what you're doing. ... as i have over these past few days. It's sad. I know they'll still be there when I come home, but none the less it's still sad. The little STA travel clock hanging off my dashboard is telling me there's 1day 5hrs 12 minutes left. So close.

... you have to readjust your footing and that was at ankle deep. It was still nice to walk down to the beach at sunset as it was only two minutes away and sit there quietly relaxing. A few days later however visited the much nicer beach of Cottlesloe. Strangely the same beach exhibition I had seen on the Bondi to Coogee beach walk, was now being exhibited on this beach. ... good idea of having a number of theatre room settings for new customers, where they can experience the full potential of each system and, if Dave is in charge of the controls, the maximum volume possible before their ears start to bleed! Monique and I left to pick up a few things for the cousin's night and to help Barb get ready with Dave under strict instructions to get back in plenty of time (which he did).  Everyone arrived at around 7.30 and the party got underway ...

... up with Dan, Mary and Neil and see their place. And the BBQs were the best! We got to experience the wonderful Western Australian climate - basically non-stop sunshine and blue skies. They have the nicest beaches too, pretty good lifestyle!
Met up with Sonny & Hannah, Ray and lots more of the gang. Got to party at the famous Northbridge.
Oh ya, this guy called Tom turned up there as well, no getting away from him :)

... lancelin, and it's basically just a one road community, lined with the occasional cafe or surf shop, and backing onto the edge of a rugged seafront, best for launching yachts and surfing. a wonderful place if you're into rough waters and wind, but not for those people who just want white sands, sun, calm seas, and somewhere to soak up the sun and read a book! here in lancelin, we joined brid and cole for dinner in maybe the town's one pub, which happened to close around 10pm, and ...

... too! Thank you Adriana & Kim Emily and Linden, we had a great time and really enjoyed singing Karaoke (still cannot believe you managed to get Julie to sing!) dancing on your wii and Shrek 2! Well Mark and Yvonne have flown up to Brisbane for a few days to visits some of Yvonne's friends, so it's back to our own company for a few days! We will report back again soon. Happy New Year to you all, don't drink too much now! And don't go making any New Years resolutions you can't keep!
