... to know everyone better. Our next stop is to walk over to Kira's parents, Thorston and Mariane Engholm, who live about 15 minutes walk away. So, everyone gets bundled up and off to another Fika. ... talked for several hours. Right at midnight Anthony and Maurgerita Miles arrived from Oslo as well. It's a six hour drive from Oslo to Mjölby. We had a full house. We talked for about another hour and finally went to bed after 1:00am. When you live in isolation, you don't just have have short chats when you get together. Tomorrow we plan a full day of fellowship and a Church service/discussion in the afternoon.

Massiv turistdag. Började med ett informativt besök på turistbyrån där man brann för uppgiften. Hann med en kort vända genom staden varefter det var hög tid för den guidade visningen av Vadstena Slott. Fick en inlevelsefull rundvandring i detta 1500-tals slott som Gustav Vasa lät bygga enligt sagoboks modell med tinnar, torn och vallgrav (tyvärr var draken ej hemma). Tur genom gemak, festsalar och slottskyrka med Sveriges största stjärnvalv ...

... ett fascinerande fenomen väl värt att se, både rent tekniskt med gamla träkonstruktioner och flödande vattenmassor samt även sociologiskt med samspel bland båtfolk (Göta Kanal är inte för inte tydligen även känd som skilsmässo-diket...). Höll på att storkna av värmeslag, utmed vägen till Vadstena kom räddningen, Sverigeidyllisk badplats vid Ljung. Styrkta till kropp & själ susade vi framåt tills vi var "tvungna" att stanna igen då skylten "Brunneby kyrka & gårdsbutik" lockade oss ...

Today we went into Goteberg city To watch the euro 2008 match on the big screens. (Sweden and Spain) But there was so much litter around the place and people smoking we went down to the local cafe (cappucino) and had a very different hot chocolate. We went back to the house and had tapas for dinner after finally deciding that it was too busy to have tea out !... Another game of pool was played before going up for bed at 12:30!
