    Great location but that's all!

Fabulous spot right on the beach but sporadic service, no bar, dingy, dirty and to top it off ant and termite infestations!

    Day 22: Life's a Beach

A travel blog entry by gregros on Aug 18, 2015

As we are at the beach, we thought we'd have a relaxing day. We had a late breakfast and met up with the others at 10am to find out what we could do in Mancora. We went for a walk down the main street. It's a pretty little town, with a number of restaurants that are closed (surprise, surprise) and several clothing and souvenir shops. Tuk-tuks are …

Warning graphic content ahead... . . . . This morning I woke in the early hours with stomach cramps and an urgent need for the bathroom. Not a good start as we had to spend most of the day on a bus. I took some Imodium Instant and went back to bed for a couple of hours. Now I think Imodium Instant needs to be renamed as the first dose did not work …

A travel blog entry by mattandelisha on Jan 01, 2013

Today we slept in till 12 o'clock after getting home late from New Year's Eve celebrations. We lazed around and I went to the beach for a swim.

I sat on the beach while Elisha was feeling low on energy and she went for a lie down in the room.

We ordered sandwiched and milk shakes at the hotel for lunch.

    After lunch we …

    Mancora - Long Lefts

A travel blog entry by mattandelisha on Dec 30, 2012

I woke up and checked the surf. It was mid tide and about 2-3 feet. So I went and hired a board. This time I got a 6'3 but real thick. I paddled out for a surf while Elisha was still in bed. The waves are really long here you can catch a wave from out the back and along the reef all the way to the shore.

After breakfast we went for a walk …

We had a great sleep in the juice quiet room. We slept in an went down for breakfast. The waves were a little smaller than last night about 2ft. I found out that the tide effects them a lot just like in Montanita. It was low tide at the moment.

Time for a swim. We got changed and hit the beach. This place was great everyone hung out and …
