Fabulous spot right on the beach but sporadic service, no bar, dingy, dirty and to top it off ant and termite infestations!

The day dawned stupidly early for a rather long bus journey to Peru. We have a cheeky nice bus before we move into the public domain. I am mostly excited today about our homemade tuna and avo rolls which we powered through to make the night before (struggling to drain the olive oil down el banos). My travel tablet is unfortunately non drowsy so I …

I've loved every single experience before now but here, I actually feel like I'm on holiday...sandy beaches and a clear blue sky with a hotel that's so close to the warm sea I can …

We have arrived in Peru, the land of the Incans, Pisco, Ceviche and more importantly the birthplace of Paddington bear. Our first stop in Peru, is the seaside town of Mancora where we all look forward to a swim the ocean, especially after multiple buses and a border crossing. Many of the public buses have actually been really enjoyable, some having …
