... a quick change we went out to the Parque de la Independencia for a concert (which was televised) and countdown to 2009. We left everthing including the camera in the hotel. But it was quite a civilised affair with a strong police presence and families with children in attendance. After several bands including Los Gigantes and Adriana Bottina (sorry, no Shakira!) fireworks were shot off the Colpatria Tower (over 30 stories) for 10 mins! It was amazing! Happy New Year 2009!

... Andres Clamaro and the fact that Pilar has lost her voice makes me think she had a good time. To be less stressed about pick pocketing, we did not take bags or cameras. I regret it because we were so well positioned and the vibes were very good so photos would have been fantastic.
