... to go now. Entering Prague we were impressed by the enormity of the city and also at how many buildings still had the old character. Never have we seen anything on this scale in any other city! Cities have preserved the old styles, but this goes on for blocks and blocks and blocks here!! Beautiful. I had seen a pastry a few days ago that looked really yummy so we went ...

... an outdoor patio which was covered from the drizzle and had heaters too. Arlene had a seafood salad and Alan had a pizza with capers and anchovies. We paid twice the regular rate due to the location, but it was better to do that then get cranky due to hunger. For dessert we had cassis gelato, which we love but can only find in Europe. We did a little shopping and Arlene got some apricot hand lotion and we looked in an interesting botanicals store and a tiny little antique / ...

... made it to the grounds of Prague castle! The summer palace and gardens were extraordinary And Pam finally got her visit to a real and true orangery We began our tour at the cathedral St. Vitus The stained glass windows surely enticed us Such colour, such detail, many relics of gold It's amazing to see such wonders so old (10th century!) Next up on the tour was the old royal palace A tangible history full of prosperity and malice The basilica of ...
