... in the papers. I don't get the message of why they are on strike. It is not only my Spanish. I am not interested. There are no cabanas that suit us; we take a room in the Hotel Costanera on the coast. The Mirage jetfighter parked in front of the hotel proudly refers to the 1982 war on the Malvinas. Argentinians think the Malvinas, in England referred to as the Falkland Islands, are theirs. Like the British think the opposite. They both won the war. Everybody ...

At least we are back on pavement, it is a grey cold day and the wind never stops. We stop for a warm up and a bite to eat santa cruz. We ordered what we thought was 2 empanadas (small pasty) when they arrived we had 20 or more to eat. Lucky they tasted great.

We are off to do the 'All Glaciers Navigation' tomorrow.
... the Eco camp which is just up the road from our hotel. They commented that they thought we have been wise to stay where we are and I think our decision is a good one as well. The hotel location, views and trekking packages/excursions are all fantastic.
We arrived back at the hotel at 20.00, time to check our plans for tomorrow, the weather and select our lunch box. We went back to the room and freshened up and then headed to dinner.
