I made friends with a couple of Parisian french guys travelling with 4 children on the bus. They left their wives back home for this holiday. When we got the to boat port they loaded us onto a sightseeing boat to get us across to the glacier. I am not sure who the driver was but he managed to crash into the ...

Having a credit card is no help either. For a start there are queues outside all the working ATM machines. Not because they work but because they work sometimes. It is not uncommon for people to try to withdraw their money 10 times or more ...

      ... impressive.

At the glacier we managed to catch up with Liz and Jill (both from Australia) who left before us, but we then caught up at the glacier ice-bar at the Glaciarium (partway back to El Calafate) for our permitted 25 mins of time in the bar for unlimited drinks. We took full advantage of this! We had a great night, with a joint dinner and some wine, before heading to bed ahead of our impending bus to Puerto Natales, Chile, in the morning!
