    The first thing on the list, as per Dad's request, was a good steak. I have read that being a vegetarian in Buenos Aires is a huge missed steak. I can't say that I ever felt like I was missing out on the experience, or mistaken for that matter. I was quite happy to let Dad and Sibling sample the steak, which they said was excellent, but nothing more impressive than what one can get back home.

    "Everyone knows it is my right as a Chilean to guilt honest people into providing free transportation for my friends and I, despite all those buses that just passed by, or our obvious lack of personal hygiene. Plus, I'm really hoping they'll let me use their bathroom. We ran out of toilet paper days ago."

    ... we queuing holding an ice cream cone gently in his teeth as he disappeared around the corner, when he then approached me 10 minutes late I didn't recognize him as the same dog. He came to join us for a cuddle and hadn't looked twice at our ice creams however when Rachael put down her cone a bit later but wanting any more he was on it in seconds again having the cone very gently by the point. We started to laugh recognising him and he looked so guilty, he then vanished ...

    ... volcanoes, river etc. We also decide to do some white water rafting, which Linda is uncertain about but signs up anyway! We were going to head south to the island of Chiloe, which is where many of the Chilean natives now live and which is supposed to be beautiful.     ... hour. Gee, twist my arm. She also got me a connection for a fly fishing outfit, even though it didn't turn out. Seems you have to give more than 14 hours notice and not many people were keen on fishing in pouring down rain. The rain finally cleared up and I got some better pictures. I stepped in a big pile of dog poo though which was kind of unpleasant, especially in my brand new shoes. Dog poo aside, I was so happy to be here and on this trip. Each day has been ...
