The city is dead so dont expect to see any tourist there. I would recommend the recycle park and the Welsh tea where you get fed with tons of sweat. I found couple of Germans who will be driving to Punta Tombo tomorrow and I will share the rental with them. I guess I was lucky to find them otherwise the price for the tour is around 170 ARS.

Trelew is the largest town in the Chubut valley and has some 90,000 inhabitants. Its only a 1 hour from Puerto Madryn but stepping off the bus feels like entering a new area. Unlike the dry and arrid landscapes of Puerto Madryn, Trelew is irrigated by the Rio Chubut.
