Day 4: Xmas Eve Hike Through National Park

A travel blog entry by gregchinery

... It was tight to begin with, but opened up superbly as the night unfolded. Deep purple, with violet and vanilla notes, well balanced and lingering finish. At 12am we all sang "Felize Navidad" clinked champagne glasses together, and later wandered away to our rooms. Tina had a go at skyping family back in Oz but I suspect everyone on the planet was having the same idea and the tarmac on the WWW was in melt-down. We went to bed well sated and dreamed happy ...

The water had many different colours of blue.  On the way we saw Mt Tronodor which is 3554m high, it still had a lot of snow on it. We had some big seagull looking birds  comes ...

This is a top pick!

... for the night….I wanted to kiss them! They even made a supper especially for us since they were full for dinner that night. How fabulous!

It’s amazing how excited you get when you find a big, soft comfy bed and perfect pillows…especially when the room is quiet and you just know that you are going to get a good night sleep! Within minutes of lying on the bed we had decided that we would try to extend our stay ...
