    ... get our food. The food was ok and our waitress was nice but I will not choose to go there again. We made it to the Quality Inn in Shelburne VT shortly after 8. The kids wanted to go swimming and we spent some time down there.     ... now run by a foundation. The
    sun had come out and it was nice to walk around. Favorite sites were the Circus building and
    the ferry boat, Ticonderoga. It had been
    a ferry on Lake Champlain and when it was being retired from service, Electra
    bought it and had it moved to the museum grounds. The boat is furnished to represent the 1920s
    which was the peak usage for the boat.

    After an amazing breakfast (all the TripAdvisor reviews rave about the breakfast) we set off for a walk around the town, checked out some galleries, bought a few souvenirs, drove across the bridge into New Hampshire just so we could tick off another state visited (and back into Vermont) and headed north.     ... a meditation bench from my Dad's house that we'd been carrying with us and needed to deliver to my brother's house in Vermont.  These were all safely hidden under a large blanket in the back, with two bottles of Roxyann wine (I almost forgot!!) from Oregon. Our route today was simply taking I-787 to Route 7 to Bennington, VT!  We actually could have driven home without the Garmin, but "Alice" had been keeping us on track ...

    ... NYC apartment of one of the founders of this museum with real Renoirs, Monets, Manets, Rembrandts and a Remington western bronze sculpture.
