    ... you have to ring in advance to book a place - didn't think that this should be a problem so early in day with no one around. Wrong again - after 6 or 7 phone calls - all booked out- we gave up.     ... up and blowing straight into us and got progressively colder. We finaly slogged into the Alberque d' Santiago on the outskirts of Belorado thoroughly exhausted. I had Garlic soup that was very disappointing and flavorless. Sat here falling asleep trying to write this blog while drying my clothes.

    Day 7 of a 9 day string with no break. We got a late start because we stayed to have breakfast at our hotel. Like 18 year olds with no money, we stuffed our pockets with fruit and sandwiches for later. Because of the late start, there wasn't as many peregrinos along the way today.
