    ... so sat down and ordered. Served very quickly, Food was great and had lovely bottle of local red (tempranillo) and were quite satisfied even though we had been ostrasized from the outside world. Another couple were shown in just as we were leaving. Walked back through main restaurant and it was packed! Decided we weren' t too smelly ( we had showered) or wrongly dressed - we just hadn't booked and were too early! It was only 9 pm!

    ... of these alterations? It's a great walk that starts in the cold and dark and will finish in the hot and sunny. Today we are lost in our own thoughts while we travel in our iPod induced bubbles. At first I was concerned that using an iPod along the Camino may in some way be sacrilegious. I do have one confession - I listened to "That's what makes you beautiful" by One Direction when it came on! Lots of questions I realise, but their name is in some way ...

    My trip to Bilbao had a couple of reasons.     After picking up our car ( a little Holden Astra manual) which gave us a few stressful moments in the middle of Madrid because it has the new cut out on the engine when you come to a stop!!     ... to some heavy snoring about 4:00am. I decided to get up and give Eugene a shake and tell him to roll over. There was Eugene sleeping like a baby and not making a sound.
